Beautifully written. Great read ladies. The price is exceptionally reasonable. Many of us have been at the mercy of sociopath monsters!!!! Many of us have escaped and are in the "survivor" mode! Therapy will help you recognize the signs these monsters look for, too, therapy will help you identify your weaknesses that draws the perpetrators to you in the first place. Try to look for the "red flags", for those who are in recovery, so you don't fall victim again. Perpetrators smell our fear. Stand tall ladies, walk like you have purpose, hold your heads up high, and until you increase your self-esteem, fake it until you make it. Sociopaths are afraid of strong women. Somehow, in our lives, someone or someones have made us feel small and worthless. It is NOT easy, and YES there is hope. There is. I don't always feel strong, and I do feel afraid, at times, just try not to let it show around the people who could hurt you. Eventually, ladies, you will become "warriors" once you master your unfortunate situations.Product details

It so hard to describe living with a sociopath. The way things are never what you think they are, the way you feel as if you are drowning, but are never quite sure... This book captures it.
I found this book to be so good and interesting. I recommend this book to everyone.
The characters come so alive that you sometimes feel like you might like to punish this guy yourself, and then rescue the victim from his evil schemes! I seriously felt like i knew these people well, as well as you can know an enigma anyhow.
This is a great opportunity for you to get a glimpse of what goes on in some homes, when women (or men) suffer at the hands of an abuser. Things you may have never considered before this book.
When all hope is lost, when everyone has turned on you, and all you have is yourself and your faith, you find out what you're made of. This girl persevered; she survived! And reading her account will help you to see how you can help yourself or others to do the same.
A very good book and a must read. I can relate to just about everything in this book. The difference between her story and mine is the sociopath in my life is my father but tactics are the same. She really lays out what it is like being in a relationship with a sociopath and the effects it has on the target. One day I will write my story.
If you have questions about your relationship look no further! If you're dating or married to somebody and you can't explain why it's so complicated and you can't explain why it's difficult to leave.....
Or you just want to read a darn good book.....two thumbs up! Chance Thomas wrote a winner! One of my absolute favorite all-time books! I hope she writes more books because I really enjoy reading this!
Wow! How hard it must have been to write this book. The author put it all out there and made herself very vulnerable to the world. Very brave and caring to share what she has experienced so anyone in this same situation may learn from her story. I believe this is a must read for anyone living with a sociopath. They will benefit greatly from her experience and insight. Kudos to you Chance for sharing!
This book offers an unbridled glimpse into the confusing and conflicted life of someone that is involved romantically with a sadistic sociopath. Chance bared her soul and shared embarrassing stories and details, that on paper make it look as if there was an easy decision to be made. However, when you are navigating the labyrinth of a manipulative and controlling relationship with a sociopath, it is a gradual and subtle decline into their dark world and madness. They are very charming in the beginning and they work hard to ensure that you are hooked before they begin their sadistic routines of abuse. Once the abuse begins, it leaves you scratching your head, wondering what you have done to merit such loathsome reactions from someone that professes to love you. It also leaves you wondering what you can do to get back in their good graces...the problem is, it is all a game to them and you will never be good enough in their malevolent eyes. I highly recommend that you read this book if you have found yourself ensnared in a destructive and abusive relationship and you need more clarity about your situation.
